Description (eng)
This bachelor thesis explores the interprofessional collaboration between community nurses
and social workers in Austria. The focus is on commonalities, challenges, and opportunities
from the perspective of professionals. Limited cooperation poses potential problems for the
quality of care and support for patients and communities, while successful interprofessional
collaboration offers the opportunity to provide effective and coordinated assistance to patients.
Analyzing current dynamics, challenges, and opportunities in a historical context provides
insights into the origins and dynamics of both professions, laying a foundation for future
research and discussions in this area.
