Description (eng)
In practice, social group leaders regularly apply concrete interventions to phenomena of group dynamics. Therefore, it is necessary for social work practitioners to know concrete interventions, to understand how they work, and when and how they can be applied. The aim of this work is to answer which practical interventions can be used. For this purpose, guided interviews with experts in social group leadership were conducted and observation protocols from workshops were analysed. The results show that in order to apply interventions, the biographical experiences, the personality of the group leaders, the context, the mandate of the organisation and the possible resistance of the participants have to be taken into consideration.
