This bachelor thesis deals with the effects on the well-being of residents of the nursing and care center Mödling in long-term care through a structured, informative introduction during admission. The data collection was carried out by means of guideline-supported expert interviews, by questioning employees and residents of the nursing and care center Mödling. The data was evaluated by means of structure-guided text analysis. A sufficient employment process with intensively accompanied information acquisition when moving to a nursing and care center has positive effects on residents. In the different phases of the admission process, social work can provide essential support.
